Somerhalder, 46, appeared on the Tuesday, March 4, edition of Hot Ones Versus with his Brothers Bond Bourbon co-founder and former The Vampire Diaries castmate Paul Wesley. Somerhalder played Damon Salvatore on the series, while Wesley, 42, played his brother, Stefan. In the episode, in which the two interviewed each other over spicy chicken wings, Somerhalder prompted Wesley to reveal a storyline he thought "should've never made it out of the writer's room.
