A Texas thief swiped more than $700,000 worth of Tiffany & Co jewelry before swallowing the evidence, police said. Jaythan Gilder, from Houston, told the staff of the upscale jewelry house he was a top athlete to get them to take him into the Orlando store's VIP room, CBS News reported. The 32-year-old was shown several pieces, including two pairs of earrings worth $769,500 total and a $587,000 ring, according to court documents.
