Vice President J.D. Vance said it was wrong to assume that he was snubbing European allies during his interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday. He did claim that if some European allies were called into assist Ukraine with ground troops they would be sending in thousands who have not faced a ground war in decades. But allies in Europe who helped Americans in the Middle East conflict over the last 20 years didn't take kindly to the insinuation.
