McDonald's has maintained the top spot in fast-food dominance for decades - but a Chinese brand's meteoric rise has stolen a crown from the golden arch's empire. Mixue Ice Cream and Tea (pronounced ME-schway), the budget-friendly beverage restaurant chain, has exploded to 45,000 locations, according to The Wall Street Journal. That puts McDonald's, with its 42,000 locations, in second place for global store count. Starbucks boasts just over 40,000 stores across the world.
