Volodymyr Zelensky's prediction that the end of war in Ukraine was 'very, very far away' was branded 'evil' by Donald Trump's inner circle and infuriated the president before he decided to pull military aid to the beleaguered nation. Trump swiftly called a meeting with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security adviser Mike Waltz on Monday to discuss a way forward in light of the comments.
