Trumpannounced the plans on the social mediaplatform Truth Social on Tuesday, Dec. 16, without indicating what he would be speaking about.
"I look forward to 'seeing' you then," reads the Dec. 16 post. "It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"
Trump recently kicked off a speaking tour focused on the economy,ruffling some feathers last weekwhen he mocked what he called the "affordability hoax" while speaking in a swing congressional district in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. The cost of living has been a hot-button issue of late, with democrats blaming Trump's policies for aworsening "affordability crisis," contrary to campaign promises he made to reduce the cost of living from "day one" of his presidency.
