Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery — andTracy Morgansaid he is a fan of this comedian's impression of him.
Appearing onSherri,Morgan told hostSherri Shepherdwhat it's like to watch different people impersonate him. Shepherd noted that he has "one of the most distinct voices ever," which has inspired famous imitations from Tina Fey, Tiffany Haddish, Jordan Peele, and more.
But there's one impersonator that stands above the rest:Eddie Murphy.
"When someone does an impersonation of you, you won," Morgan said. "Somebody like Eddie does you, you won. I'm flattered and I love it."

While the30 Rockstar isn't one for flattery, he said it was an "honor" to have his friend and fellowSaturday Night Livealum Murphy imitate him duringSNL50.Both actors appeared on the "Black Jeopardy" sketch for the special, with Morgan playing a character named Darius and Murphy playing Morgan.
"Eddie's my guy," theCop Outstar said. "Me and him talk almost every day on the phone."
Morgan added that one of the highlights of his career happened when theComing to AmericaactorhostedSaturday Night Livein 2019. He said it was a "moment" to stand on stage with Murphy, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Kenan Thompson during the monologue.
The Tracy Morgan Showstar said that he suffers from imposter syndrome and believes that his friends are "funnier than me." The actor sees this as a positive thing.
"It helps me keep getting better," he said.

Morgan makes an appearance on Murphy's documentaryBeing Eddie, which released on Netflix on Nov. 12. The two also previously collaborated on Murphy'sComing 2 Americain 2021.
