As Marysville, California, is bouncing back from a major fire and traffic troubles, their new music festival brings hope that the sleepy town will transform into the Nashville of the West. A proposal was brought before the city council for a new country music festival during the summer, and it could be just what the town needs. Development in the area came to a halt for six months after the Hotel Marysville fire, which closed streets and Highway 70 before it was recently demolished, KCRA reported.
