With Yosemite playing a host to intimidating creatures including bears and mountain lions, visitors could be excused for underestimating the national park's most dangerous inhabitants: deer. That's according to park rangers, who say the animals have caused the most injuries within the California tourist hotspot this year. Mule deer are most commonly known for grazing on grass, yet their skittish nature has meant they often lash out at park visitors in an attempt to defend themselves.
